Totally impressed with Sariku! My order was flawless, the food was fabulously arranged, and tasted even better. Most important, and often forgotten in deliveries, Sariku brought chopsticks, soy sauce, noodles, salad & dressing.

Hard to give stars when the food doesn't arrive. Said 20-30 mins, been over an hour and nothing.

Godzilla roll. Do it.

I had a better experience at McDonald at half the price. Our sauces exploded in the bag and everything was really greasy, bland, and over cooked.

Being a recent transplant to NYC, I'm on a seemingly never ending quest to find decent Chinese / Japanese takeout. I've tried 4 other places on Seamless and Sariku has been the best so far. I've ordered both sushi rolls and various Chinese dishes and here are the pros and cons. PROS: Consistent, reliable delivery. Good, tasty (not amazing) food. Sushi has always been fresh and Chinese food decent. CONS: I took off a star because I'm waiting to find a Chinese restaurant that really uses white meat chicken...haven't found it yet.

I've ordered the three roll lunch special from almost every sushi restaurant in Midtown. This is the only one that isn't just "meh". Fresh, good sizes, yellowtail actually tasted like yellowtail...this is my go-to from now on.

Awesome sushi deals! Great for how much they are! Thanks 25 minute wait felt like 5 hours tho
Posted 6 months ago by Bo L.
good solid prices and always consistent. I know what I'm getting when I get Sariku sushi. Delivery times sometimes a bit long (45 to an hour) but I'm always ordering at lunch so maybe that's why. Delivery guys are always friendly too.

Delivery took too long.

Said 30 mins, still not here in 110 and 3 phone calls. They're driving, in a car, to deliver food on a Friday. In Manhattan. Stupid doesn't begin to describe this place.
Posted 8 months ago by sam s.
So it's been almost an hour since I've ordered and the food still hasn't come. I tried calling the restaurant and nobody's getting the phone. All I ordered was a general tso chicken. How hard can it be? I'm really hungry so hope they call me back really soon! (or else I might leave another bad comment about this restaurant)

Sushi is fresh, but the portion is on the small side with the rolls cut very thinly. The fish is good though. The wontons in the noodle soup are lame - all pureed pork with no texture or variation. But they did give me a good amount of veggies and the noodles aren't overcooked. About a 3.5 star meal.

Sushi wasn't very fresh, and a lot of spillage during delivery.
Posted 9 months ago by Amanda I.
Shrimp with lobster sauce- bad.. shrimp wasn't chewy enough..while the soup was just okay..
Fried rice that came with shrimp with lobster sauce was terrible.. it tasted just like rice.
Duck-salty, and just okay level. (not too bad, not too good)

Estimated delivery time was 15-30 minutes. After an hour, it still hadn't arrived. Not acceptable and the food wasn't good enough to make up for it.
Posted 10 months ago by Adam B.
The shrimp and broccoli was very delicious and reasonably priced. They did however leave out the soda in my lunch special. I would order form here again in a heartbeat so long as I double check my bag before the delivery person leaves.

Great Chinese and Japanese. I order from here at least three times a week.

Really undercooked meat.

if you are looking for high quality Chinese (and Japaneese) food at decent price, Sariku is the way to go. I have tried too many top-stared Chinese restaurants in seamless. Finally decided to stick with Sariku.
Things I like including hong-kong style roast duck (crispy skin and really fresh. no other restaruants offers the roast duck at the same quality). all the sashimi and sushi (very fresh fish). Unagi don (grilled Eel with rice). and many more. I am still trying

Delivery was on time and my soup and sushi were fine, but the noodle dish I got was bland and really nothing special.
Posted 11 months ago by Ilana B.
Very fresh. The rolls were generously sized, as were the pieces of sushi. Will order form here again.

The food took over an hour to come instead of 15-30 minutes. It was ice cold and below subpar. Won't be ordering from here again.

Delicious veggie fried rice. Best I've had in the city. Very flavorful. I was very happy with all my food, but the bento box was barely warm, and deliver took 45 minutes instead of the quoted 15-30 minutes. But it was so good, I will order again!

Delivery came in almost half an hour late and the delivery man had the audacity to be rude. He complained, saying "Open the door" when it took me more than 30 seconds to answer the buzzer. My body was aching after a long run and this is the response I get?!
The extra star is for the fairly tasty food.

Food took double the time it said to be delivered. Was bland and meat was fatty.

Adequate at best. I find Main Noodle House much higher quality. Crab rangoon had almost no crab; Scallion pancakes were burned all to hell; Fried Rice had raw onion chunks in it. Nothing bad, but nothing good either.
Posted a year ago by Gregory L.
The quality is correlated to the price.
Aka the tuna was grey and not pink/red; the fired rice is... Just awful (how do you eff up fried rice); and the Chinese BBQ pork tastes like processed spam.
BUT it's $11 for 3 rolls and $7 for pork, rice, and a soda. So... Again get what you pay for.

I primarily order Chinese food from Sariku, and it's always reliable and tasty. I just tried a tuna roll from the Japanese menu and it was fine too--and the price was far more reasonable than my local deli or grocery story (admittedly not the right places to be purchasing sushi).
Posted a year ago by Shelley W.
Sushi was okay, nothing special and a little bland compared to getting the same rolls at other places. Service was awful, even though the place is very close to were I am located, the delivery was 30 minutes later [on top of 45 minutes they say it will take] and the delivery guy completely disregarded the special instructions I added for the delivery and thus ended up going to the wrong building. Not sure I will be trying them again.

Food was ok, but delivery really missed the mark on timing. They said 30-45 minutes and it was more like an hour and a half...

Extremely fishy-smelling sashimi. Mushy seaweed salad. Will not be ordering from here again.

The timing said 30 minutes for delivery and it took over 2.5 hours to receive my food.

The deliveryman at this place are very funny. It's almost they are imported from a television sitcom. My delivery guy complained that he came all the way from Lexington Avenue and 33rd St. I was tempted to laugh in his face. Dude it is your job to deliver food stop complaining.

Ordered here for the deal and am sorry i did. The Naruto Roll was all wrong- Imitation Crab shouldn't ever be in one of those- and the cucumber was cut too thick and the rolls were about half the size than a normal one. and the Wasabi and Ginger were placed On top of the rolls instead of in a corner- it was a mess- Also- the Avocado salad was small and really sad. I wont order here again.

Worst service I have yet to encounter on seamless.
The restaurant gave me an estimated delivery time of 15-30 minutes. I called after 45 minutes to check up on the status of the order, and was told that they are far. After another 15 minutes, I tried calling the restaurant again and they hung up on me both times. I tried calling with a different phone immediately afterwards and they finally answered and told me that the delivery man was there but I never answered my phone and that they called and left a voice mail. I was sitting in front of my phone the entire time with perfectly good reception and there were no miscalls or voice mails.
Last time when I ordered from here the delivery man lied and claimed that he was already downstairs, only to show up 20 minutes later. When asked where he was he told me he was lost and that he couldn't find 30 Rockefeller Plaza even after asking cops.
Sure there are delays and mishaps here and there via seamless deliveries but I have yet to encounter a seamless business with such complete lack of integrity and regard for their customers.

The Delivery man yelled at me about the amount of the tip - I had written in the instructions that I will give more tip in cash - in addition. The man - without letting me say anything - started to demand more tip and (he didn't understand English) after I told him to wait while I get my wallet - but he left. On top of that the Udon soup was miserable! Not good at all, no flavor. Will not order from them ever again. the delivery man did arrive within the 45 mins. Sorry. I usually don't like to write bad reviews, but I will not tolerate this kind of unnecessary behaviour.

Delivery is horrible. Said 15-30 mins and it has been an hour. The whole reason I ordered from here is the fast delivery estimate. I am not kidding when I say the food is inedible. The fried food was cold and soaked through with oil. The chicken with cashews - I do not think it was chicken meat. They deep fried cubes of some sort of fatty meat. Chicken does not come in small cubes. Absolute disgusting waste of time and money.

their Chinese food is so-so, but special sushi rolls are fantastic, especially the Godzilla roll. Everyone I know who has tried it absolutely loved it. Highly recommend!
Posted 2 years ago by Olessya K.
The restaurant consistently says it will take 15-25 minutes to deliver and every time it is closer to 1 HOUR! The food is also starting to become very low quality, especially the sushi. I won't be ordering any more from Sariku.

In the IT industry, it is canonical that when it comes to Cheap, Good and Fast, the most you can get is two. This restaurant manages Cheap and Good. I love their food and their prices. However, their delivery estimate always says 15-30 minutes, and over many orders, it's always 50-60 minutes, and that's usually during off-peak times. I don't care, since I ignore the 15-30 minute estimate, but if you're the type that doesn't order 'til you're starving, this place will frustrate you. Their Steamed Juicy Buns are delicious, and their lunch specials are just the right amount of food to fill me up w/o leaving leftovers, as well as being tasty.

Do not order from here. It took an hour and 15min for the food to come, which would be okay except they claim the delivery time is 15-30min. The food arrived completely cold.

I would love to rate this place, but the food is already an hour late and the woman on the phone said it would be another 10 minutes. She sounded tired, like this had been happening all night. Terrible service. Won't order from here again. I should have read the previous reviews.

Posted 3 years ago by Ly M.
The delivery man was late, rude, and yelled at me even though he ignored the delivery instructions I clearly wrote out. Their eel and avocado roll tasted like bleach, and the spicy shrimp tempura roll was confusing (giant leaves of lettuce stuck randomly into the roll) and poor quality.

No frills, but one of the best Chinese in Murray Hill.

I have waited to write a review until I had placed several orders at Sariku. I have never been disappointed. They make flavorful sushi that is delivered quickly and at a good price. Their special rolls are unique and they follow any instructions you leave. Delivery staff are friendly and courteous. I have been disappointed by many other sushi restaurants on seamless web who's service trails off after the first order; however Sariku has been consistently good.
